alright, i's got a lady friend who's getting her permit, which do you think would be easier to start out on, a f4i or a shadow vlx? she's not a jump the gas type, so no worries there.
thanks guys.
oh, and i'll be looking for a cbr in about a month or so. and selling my 02 vlx. 3/24/2008 7:59:20 PM |

I wouldn't put her on the F4i... Even if she's not a 'jump the gas type', its not hard for a bump to cause her to hit the throttle and throw herself off... Learning on higher horsepower bikes is not a good idea.
Stick to something small, and preferably fairing-less. Rebel 250, Ninja 250/500, Suzuki gs500, etc. 3/25/2008 1:22:24 PM |

Try to find a 250ish on CL to rent or something... seriously, the f4i is too fast and the shadow is too heavy. 3/25/2008 1:42:41 PM |
