Yeah... this new engine line is giving me wood

1st engine will be a 6.2 liter dohc motor @ 425 hp
The block is a deep skirt block and is capable of displacements OVER 7 LITERS

prob capable of a boatload more power with that much displacement and DOHC.

mate it with a solid rear end in a 4500lb car like always ford.

so....

dodge has had a 6.1l 425hp engine for 4-5 years.

a 6.4 making 500 is headed our way for 09-10.

the updated 5.7 will be 380-385hp in the various cars/trucks.

Yeah but the dodge HATES boost.
and the computer is a bitch to deal with

this motor will be able to be tuned etc. and will have the same companies supporting it that always do for ford.. not to mention 6 bolt bottom end configs and the possibility of a factory blower being slapped on one...

DID I MENTION ITS DOHC! f this pushrod shit give me 4 valves and 4 cams plz
