U of M sent me like 4 brochures back in HS. They all ended up in the trash because:

-My a-hole buddy Chad was a huge Wolverines honk

-they bullshitted their way into half of a national title even though Nebraska would have run them in '97

-Charles Woodson didn't deserve to ever touch the Heisman.

-Who wants to go to school in Ann Arbor, it's fucking cold there.

In conclusion, I should have gone to the good U of M, Miami.

All things considered, going to NCSU is one of, if not the, worst decisions I've ever made.

Michigan was never really in the running. It's an excellent school, but I would never have gone there. The stuff I mentioned before was largely in jest, but some of it was serious. Living in Michigan for 4-5 years would not have been cool.

College Hockey: Only slightly shittier than the NHL.

On a completely unrelated side note, I watched some of the NCAA wrestling championship the other week and man alive I'd forgotten just how fucking boring that is to watch. At a certain point the guys are so good that it's almost always a stalemate and shit gets determined by ride time or by one incredibly minor mistake. Wrestling is one of the few sports where it's actually more exciting if one guy is way better than the other. Plus, after watching real grappling, you see how flawed wrestling is as a sport, sort of like watching MMA vs. boxing or point Taekwondo.
