I'm trying to help a friend out here... I don't know a great deal about Flash, so I'm looking for a good all-in-one component that will play audio files (probably mp3). I don't know if playlist capabilities are a requirement, or any database requirements either.
I saw this as a free solution, but it hasn't been updated in a couple of years. Another one that was a top search result is called TSPlayer, but it's $35 and I think he's wanting to go free if possible.
Do yall know of any other solutions that we might want to consider before trying the component in the first link I posted?
Thanks! 4/7/2008 7:17:01 PM |

i searched for some about a month ago on google
"free flash audio player" was probably the query i used, if i remember my search habits correctly
but i found lots that could do playlists (i remember because i was just looking for one without an ad that only played one file)
look around - i wouldn't pay $35 for anything like that though. 4/11/2008 1:42:51 AM |

you can download the flash source to these things /make edits/ add songs and host these things on your ncsu account pretty easily 4/11/2008 9:52:20 AM |

XSPF is pretty decent even though it hasn't been updated in forever
