my wife and i are looking for a team event to do a team triathlon. i like to bike, my wife runs, and we have a friend who swims so we are looking to do something as a team. does anyone know of any events or websites that would could start looking for events?

this is almost the only website you need for NC triathlons - http://www.setupevents.com/?fuseaction=events
That site gives a calendar and the company puts on all those events, but it won't help you in finding partners for a team event. If you're good at distance, consider the Duke 1/2 Ironman in September, if you can find someone to swim 1.2mi for you

one of our friends swims 1.5mi daily for cardo so that is the least of our worries. my wife wants the first race to be under 6.2 for the run.

awesome site thanks. we are wanting to do a sprint for the first go round. the knob hill in sc looks perfect.

you're looking for a sprint (5k) or a double sprint (10k) even then
