I saw David Wright and Algae Crumpler at STATS in Atl.

Its a sports bar with a cool gimmick, you have your own personal taps at your table and pour your own beer and pay by the ounce

yeah, and you get drunk really fast. Normally, even with really good service you have at least a few minutes in between beers, some time chit chatting with the waitress etc... here its just straight drinking with no break.

So how far back can we go on this? I got to meet Coach K, Roy Williams, Sendek, Dean Smith, Phil ford and all the State players at the time as well as watch unc-ch practice as well as meet some of the dook players.. all this in one day. A kid my brother was neighbors with in Alabama was being recruited by the big 3 triangle schools and we got to go on his non-official vists to State/dook/unc-ch. Saw tyler at the 04 Nike camp as well as Bynum and some other well known players.



Also saw a bunch of current college players at the 2004 Nike All Star camp in Indy.

I met Tyler Hansbrough at a bar down in wilmington last memorial day weekend, he talked to me and my friend (who's a big Duke fan) for about 15 minutes. It was a two-level bar and my friend said to Tyler "Gerald Henderson is upstairs right now" to which Tyler replied "I wish he was, I'd go kick his ass"

He was by himself, didnt have an entourage with him which was kinda cool. as much as I absolutely hate him on the bball court and all the press he gets for his "will", he seemed like a regular guy who wasnt afraid to talk some basketball trash to a couple drunkards at a bar

he also wasnt as built looking or tall as I thought he would be

and I'll just go ahead and slap a big [no homo] on that entire story

Walking out of Ford Field in Detroit after Super Bowl XL and I looked to my right and was walking beside Franco Harris. We walked together for a few minutes and chatted about the game and what not. Great way to end that night.
