Search is fucked up

Anyone have a good dentist recommendation in the Cary area? Just looking for a regular check-up/general cleaning.

While not in Cary, if you are looking for someone who is a State fan I would recommend Dr. Ben Thompson at Brier Creek. http://www.thompsonfamilydentistry.com/About_Us.html They are a husband and wife team, who I found in the last year and they have been pretty great so far.

When I saw a Wolfpacker magazine in the lobby, I knew I was in the right place.

dentists know if you smoke weed (regardless of whether you smoke tobacco)

THEY KNOW

if you care

I don't

wow,

and I thought the offering of nitrous oxide upon request was a stupid reason to choose a dentist

I go to Dr. Julian Drew. It's off of Six Forks Rd right across from the Honey Baked Ham Company. He is a State grad in Chem E, then Dentistry from UNC.

I like Dr. Wilkie, Turner, and Melcher. Their office is right by Bunky's car wash in cary. I have been seeing them for ~10 years

I use Chris Martin on Edward Mills, next to the Harris Teeter. Got the recommendation from the old dentist thread.

Dr. Gary Beavers on High House Rd. in Cary is awesome.

Very prompt, nice, clean, even has TVs to watch while you're getting your grille cleaned. Highly recommended, been going there for a few years now.

He's a good guy. He did go to chapel hill for dent. though. So I'm still on the fence about him...

Charles (Chuck) Simpson. He is on 55 in apex, just south of intersection of 64 and 55.

I believe the practice is called Renaissance Dentistry. I think they still offer a free massage during your first visit, and the option to have massages at subsequent visits as well.

I went to 3 dentists (and had some pretty bad experiences) around the raleigh cary area, but I grew up knowing Chuck, and after I went to him, my teeth were finally fixed up correctly for the first time in a long time. He is a UNC Dental grad, and a native of the area.

Haha, I didn't choose Dr. Thompson because he was a State fan, I actually found out about him under high recommendation from my oral surgeon, Dr. Neshat, who I would also recommend for any tooth implant work. It just so happened that he turned out to be a State fan, which I did ask him about after seeing the Wolfpacker magazine on my first visit. Aside from that and the message chairs mentioned above, he is a great dentist. Bumping rappers delight, and biz markie while he performs his cleaning is also a plus.

I go to Donn Freeman as well. Very happy with him. I switched when I dropped my dental insurance and my previous dentist intentionally tried to add services that I did not want (the asshole actually refused to see me if I wouldn't get yearly X-Rays.) Dr. Freeman's general cleaning/checkup fee was about 1/3 less than my previous dentist and he let's me get X-Rays every few years whenever I feel like paying for them. Very fair for people paying out of pocket in my opinion.

^^I hope you realize she is charging way too much.

We use to use her, but we got tired of paying up front and she apparently charges more than what insurance will cover.

We've been going to Donn Freeman since & he's great.

^ love his blog... http://www.gogoraleigh.com

Otherwise, my dentist for as long as I can remember has been Beavers Family Dentistry... one location in Cary (behind Outback) the other in Apex (where I go because I'm partial to Dr. Paul). They're good people.

I play hockey with Dr. Waack. I've never used him as a dentist, but he is a hell of a guy.
