There are some sites that have a minority of deleted youtube videos available.

As far as I understand, these use a flaw in youtube's system where deleted videos are still hosted on youtube itself for some time after being deleted. Of course, this then gives youtube not only the power to decide if something is deleted, but also weather it has a glory run on the deleted video sites.

Should the content be really loaded, it'll get nuked quick. Should it be interesting enough, it might then get hosted on other video sites. Should it be bad enough after that and targeted by powerful organizations,

It'll get deleted from those sites as well. Should it be amazingly controversial enough after that, then it might get hosted by the basement of the internet,

Somewhere out there, someone out there is systematically harvesting youtube videos. I've gotten programs to save some videos that I watch, though still only manually.

Anyone know good (better) resources regarding this? I know this is silly bitching and moaning, but it pisses me off that other people can have video that I can't, and that my government can literally keep me from watching something that someone else wanted to show me.

And also, let's say that I had some top secret video that I wanted to be ABSOLUTELY SURE could not be hid from the world after I uploaded it, where should I upload it?

Anything else takes up about .0001% of all deleted movies.

You've never looked at a site that shows random deleted videos then.

Believe me, some of them are just random. They get requests for all sorts of reasons. Yes, porn is a large fraction, but you're just wrong that it's almost all.
