how far down from the top is the hole drilled? Also how wide is the hole?

the part of the hole closest to the top is 2.5 inches from the top. hole is about 1.5 inches on the inside and 1 inch on outside..it has the adapter for a hose. the hole is currently sealed with aquarium safe silicone but can easily be opened with a razor if you would like
