Here is what I got

2001 Tundra V8 access cab with 46000 miles very good looking truck no dents or anything and the guy wants $13K for it.

then there is a

2005 Tacoma V6 access cab with 2800 miles, still under factory warranty and is for sale for $19500

I want to make sure that i make the right decision, I feel like with the tundra if i get it I would put a lot of miles on it and its value will go down quick given the age of the vehicle but the price is a good price. With the tacoma I could put alot of miles on it but with the year of the truck and given how tacoma's keep there value I could sale it at a high resale value down the road. Which way should I go?

depends. Are you looking to keep the truck longer than a year? Or is this going to be a truck you'll have until the engine falls out.

it would be different for each if I got the tundra I would probably keep it 5-7 years, the tacoma I would keep it probably 10 or more

tacoma hands down. there are several TSBs though for '05s you might want to get addressed, the tailgates are weak in the middle for one...

TACOMA

I love mine. Doubt I would like it as much if it werent a 6 speed though, I am guessing you are looking at an automatic? There are several websites to look at for tacoma info, http://www.tacomaterritory.com , http://www.customtacos.com , http://www.toyotanation.com , http://www.xr-underground.com , etc. there is a lot of ricers on the last one though.


Look at resale value, that may help you decide also. I bet that tacoma is holding a lot more of its value than that tundra.
