carmax offered 1700, which i couldnt bite on because of a title issue which i have to go to the dmv first to resolve which might take a week or two

first off, ill be honest, i suspected that it was sold to me some years ago with previous damage and vw denied it but carmax pretty much confirmed it so unfortunately that took away alot of the value, it has some clamp marks which prove that but it is in great driving condition and fairly ok cosmetically. In the 6 years I have owned it the most major repair I have done to it is the replacement of the water pump and belt.

if you want to just drive by it, it is parked on the side of the street on Collegeview off of Marcom.

its a basic GL sedan with power doors and not much else in the way of luxury. I added an mp3 cd player instead of the cassette player. I also added projectors and euro taillights (just telling you so its easier to spot, not really for value). it has no mechanical problems that i know of, just had the 90k service and i put in a new waterpump and belt not too long ago like i said. it also passed inspection just fine last month.

i leave town on tuesday again for probably 2 weeks and if no one seems interested ill just take carmax's offer.

2 people have already seen the car and made offers (highest right now is $2100) and i think i should set a 72 hour window for bids so this doesnt drag out too long

i will be out of town for 2 weeks though so thats when the actual transaction will take place

the exact mileage is 91411 and i dont have any available service records but it was pretty much exclusively taken to dealers except for the minors things (oil changes, etc...)
