stay on the beach, i forget the town we stayed but it was the best and only a 30 min train ride into barcelona. go see segrada de familia. dont eat the fresh fish. watch out for rats in the trees. ill think of more

^^ i stayed on a beach town in catalonia too.. can't remember the name but if I saw a map I could tell you... barcelona is really cool, but I especially liked the outlying towns better... nothing like really hanging out with locals IMO..

we stayed in Vilanova. i can send you some pics if you pm me your email address. one night we missed the last bus to the train station and had to sleep in a park in barcelona. thats when we discovered there were giant rats running around in the trees. we didnt get much sleep

I want to say the town we stayed in was El Masno (I probably spelled it wrong). It was average sized (i'd say ~15-20k) but had a small town feel... beautiful area. I'd like to go back.. it was just N of Barca

Go see a Flamenco show and a Bullfight(if in season).

Also eat some Paella.

ah, the town we stayed in was to the south. had the most beautiful beaches ive ever seen(except for the sea cucumbers laying all over the beach)

there was a giant bull with a naked lady inside of it in the buffer, you can barely see it on google maps though
