This is a professional grade high speed solid ink printer. It will produce full color 8x11 photographs literally as fast as you can pull them out of the tray (2 sec each at full resolution), and does so with incredible quality. Uses Colorstix ink, a solid block of toner in a wax substrate about the size of a normal print cartridge. Easy to handle and inexpensive . . . . a color block which yields a thousand pages is only about $20, less for non-OEM. Prints look glossy and professional even on normal cheap paper!

The printer includes enough ink for several thousand pages, and 94% of its maintenance kit remaining. All colors have at least two blocks of solid ink remaining. So around $200-250 worth of supplies included.
