OJ killed two people but never went to jail
Vick is in jail for killing dogs

that's interesting enough by itself

bonds and clemens are crazy cheaters and rose is just an idiot, those don't matter

Bonds, Vick, and OJ I presume don't care what people think about them. Bonds was known as a cancer, Vick flipped off fans, and OJ beat his wife even before he killed her. I assume all three of these guys could care less what people think of them or their peers in the sporting world. Clemens certianly cares what people think about him, but he cares more about the hall of fame, and he also claims he never knew his trainer was shooting his wife up with HGH, that in itself is enough not to take him seriously. I think the answer here is Pete Rose. He was banned from his sport for over a decade and was loved by most when he played.

I think Vick has just based on the amount of money it cost him, upwards of $140mil

OJ, Definitely.

He was a football God and was a commercial success after retirement. Now he's a complete pariah that no one wants to be a part and this is pretty much unanimous for everybody. Some people still think Rose, Clemens and Bonds are good people. OJ killed, allegedly, two people and that's way more serious than cheating.

A couple of other sports star who have had big falls (although not necessarily due to their actions, but due to injuries):

Bo Jackson
Kirby Puckett (although Puckett was never on the level of a Bo Jackson/OJ/Tyson type of name recognition or publicity).

nobody comes even close to roger Clemons

he was the darling of his sport far beyond any of the other guys
then in a matter a few months he is worse than barry bonds, how can you manage to pull that off when everyone was willing to forgive you.

i dont think tyson wins for these reasons
1. he was not beloved
2. he already lost and had passed his prime
3. he came back to boxing after jail

so its not really that big of a deal,

Clemens

Vick wasnt good enough
OJ was too far spread out from when he played
Bonds was always a dick

but Clemens was beloved

OJ was just a retired player/part time actor when he fell...

Clemens was still really close to his prime, and almost everyone liked or at least respected him as the best pitcher of the last 50 years

OMG racist. I'd kill white people too actually. But really, the biggest fall.. Vick or Clemens, but we will have to wait till we know if Vick can come back as a DB or some sort of even shittier QB, or HB, or something. Clemens was the all-american guy, one of the best pitchers ever, stand up guy (we assumed) off the field. Now he's a cheater on and off the field. Vick cost himself the most in his current sport (unless Tyson did, which you might be able to say since boxing has gone way down in the last couple years without him). But we will have to see until Vick does or doesn't come back I would say

and if it were up to me, Pete Rose is 100% a HOFer all the way
