It still gets me riled up that he punched J-hodge in the jewels, and here ESPN talks of how wonderful of a guy he is.

He (very rarely) gets into trouble on the court instead of off the court, which makes him a good guy by current professional athlete standards.

Plus, uhhh he's really good

he's shocking the hell out of me lately, I knew he was good but he's dominating the playoffs, it just didn't seem like he has the physical talent to do this but he keeps proving me wrong

he is really balling out...i fully expect san antonio to come out and win games 3 and 4 to tie it up, and then we'll see what he's made of

but the way he's playing now i wouldnt be shocked if the hornets were up 3-1 going back to new orleans

i agree about Bowen

give Paul some time, he'll get on his level

i mean it seems like nobody on TWW can talk any shit about Paul, because apparently we're just holding onto the past about him punching Hodge in the nuts

but am I the only one who remembers him being a whiny bitch on the court and getting away with other cheap shots long before the Hodge incident?

Nope, I remember him shoving Dahntay Jone's face in the court during a loose ball situation. I'll only ever remember him though for punching Jules in the balls and cussing at the crowd.

He was a whiny bitch in college and he's a whiny bitch in the NBA. He's also a semi-dirty player, but I don't believe he'll ever get on Bruce Bowen's level because he doesn't have to. Bowen prides himself on his defense and his tough play...and to do that he needs to play dirty. Chris Paul has so much other shit that he's awesome at, so he doesn't need to resort to doing that stuff on a constant basis.

Chris Paul is easily the best point guard in the game and has the chance to go down as the best point guard ever. He's sporting a fucking 12-to-1 turnover ration in the playoffs right now. He's played 7 games and had 9 fucking turnovers....NINE!!! As the primary ballhandler...that's just ridiculous.

I still like Deron Williams better, and during the regular season I had Paul as 1a and Deron as 1b (it helped that Deron bested him in the head-to-head series). But considering the playoffs right now...Paul is the clear #1.

The crowd that decided that talking about his deceased grandfather was fair game? Anyone here would have cursed our fans out, assuming you 1) had any kind of relationship with your grandfather and 2) possess multiple brain cells.

there was maybe 5 people who supposedly said that

I was sitting front row for that game and about 10 of us were giving him and the rest of those fuckheads shit all game (not grandfather shit for clarification, I actually didnt even know about his Gpa until after the fact). When he made that shot he ran right over to where we were sitting and yelled "go home" a bunch. I yelled at him but was

He's a dirty player and I hate him but he is balling out of his mind right now.

Yeah...hate to say it...but he probably will be. Did Isaiah ever have a 12-to-1 turnover ratio in the playoffs?? Against probably the strongest playoff field ever?

And apparently Steve Nash banged TreeTwista's mom, sister, and girlfriend at the same time...while he was watching. Holy shit....let it go man.

Isaiah won back to back titles

but go ahead and crown Paul the greatest player ever

btw, how can you NOT have a problem with MVP voting when KOBE BRYANT has won 1 MVP and STEVE NASH has won TWO

i mean if you go ahead and call it 'Offensive Player of the Year' i wont have a problem with Nash getting it every year, since his complete lack of defense no longer comes into the discussion...but as long as its called MVP it should be people like Kobe and Duncan winning

I'd rather see Nash for what he is, than suck his dick like he is the best point guard in league history like the rest of the NBA does

HEY I'M STEVE NASH, I JUST GOT MY ANKLES BROKEN BY RAYMOND FELTON SO I'M GOING
TO LEG WHIP HIM AND TRY TO INJURE HIM SINCE I'M A BITCH AND CAN'T PLAY DEFENSE

Duke fans hate him more than State fans. Sean Dockery was his worst nightmare, as was chris duhon, and a few others. Every time there was a loose ball, paul was on the ground throwing bows.

He's sick though, cant disrespect his game. There's just no reason for him to act like a bitch. He's too good for that, and he hasn't grown up at all.

I was out drinking before the Yankees game last night at a bar and I had to explain to a colleague why Chris Paul's a little bitch when he brought up the playoffs.

He still punched J Hodge in the balls, so he is pretty low in my book. Regardless of his level of NBA play. Therefore, go Spurs!

35 points, 9 assists, and 1 turnover.

I can't stand the guy...but what he's doing right now is kind of ridiculous. The Hornets wouldn't have sniffed the playoffs this year without him.

Settle down, he's playing really, really well but let's not start talking about how he has the chance to be the bet PG ever. In case you've already forgotten some of these guys were pretty good: Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, John Stockton, Oscar Robertson, and Bob Cousy.

Yes, he's looked phenomenal, but he's also only in the second round of the playoffs after knocking off a Mavericks team that looked like it didn't want to be in the playoffs. If he manages to get them to the Western finals I'll be impressed, but I don't think there's any chance that they'll make it to the finals since the Hornets would have to beat either the Lakers or the Jazz.

He was doing that before any of those alleged shouts occurred. In fact, that's what started the comments about his grandfather. That was also just one game. He always acted like that here.

What makes a player great isn't what he does in a few games, or even one season. We all remember plenty of people who have been great for a year and then faded. Great players are those who can perform at the highest levels night after night, year after year, in pressure situation after pressure situation.

He's having a good run in the playoffs now, but keep in mind we are also only halfway through the second round of the playoffs. I might listen to you guys if we were in the Finals at this point, but this is just the beginning.

They didn't call Reggie Jackson Mr. October because he had two good weeks.
