I was wondering if anyone else who wears contacts has had a similar problem Ive been having, this might be long and confusing....

So about 2 months ago my eyes started getting really red and itchy. So I stopped wearing contacts for about 2-3 weeks. They got better. I threw out the old contacts and opened a fresh pack and got a different brand of solution, Complete-multi purpose. My eyes were fine for about a month. Then, recently I wanted to test whether it was the contacts or the old solution which was Opti-Free, so overnight I soaked one contact in Opti-Free and another in Complete. Well, after wearing them for about 4 hours, the eye which was wearing the contact from the Opti-Free solution, started to irritate so I took it out. Also around this time I ran out of the Complete solution, so when I went to the store I bought a twin pack of Opti-Free. I did this because of the recall Complete had last year. I used the Opti-Free to clean and soak my contacts and now BOTH my eyes are red and itchy....

I know that was long, BUT Opti-Free has worked for me for over a year without any problems and now it is giving me problems. So im wondering if anybody out there has had a problem with Opti-Free solution.

I used to have problems with my contacts drying out late at night if i was still up. I switched to some new "moisturized" contacts that retain moisture better and they are so much nicer.

The Opti-free replenish does that to my mom's eyes, so she just keeps using the older opti-free. They still sell it right along side the newer one.

if only there were licensed professionals who attended years of schooling to be able to diagnose your problem
