I've gotten 2 quotes around $250! a bit more than I was hoping for. I figure it can't be too complicated to replace seals and put in new oil. Anyone ever done this procedure before?

shit is easy yo, after months of chronic problems on a YZ125 i buddy looked it up and figured that shit out in 15 min. it seriously only takes the most basic of tools(adjustable wrench and jap sockets?) and common sense, do it yourself 5/10/2008 1:31:47 AM |

Just did mine a week ago. I had to get a pretty big hex key and it's kind of messy, but the rest is cake. 5/10/2008 10:20:13 AM |

yea, they actually didn't have seals for my model. I've seen other sites where it'll add up to about $40 after shipping for a pair of dust and oil seals. seems high for a couple glorified rubber bands. 5/10/2008 7:28:17 PM |

you would think they would be more than half off that i mean i think the mold paid for itself after the first set was sold. 5/11/2008 5:02:43 PM |

ok SO I found set of seals on ebay for $25. got those ordered. I'm guessing the oil (suspension fluid) is pretty universal. I can get it at advanced auto parts? 5/11/2008 6:19:54 PM |
