So a few weeks ago, my wife clipped a mailbox with the passenger side view mirror. It broke the glass and broke the turn signal lens off the bottom. I took it apart last night, and it looks like an easy fix if I can order new mirror. Anyone know the best place to order this from? I'd like to be able to fix it without spending an arm and a leg. To make matters worse, its the power heated mirror. I checked JC Whitney and it doesnt look like they have it. Its a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer btw.

you can check fleabay. i'm sure there are plenty of aftermarket mirrors that are cheap and will get the job done. i'm not a fan of non-OEM replacement parts so i'd check here:

North Carolina Cell Phone Laws Email is False
WILMINGTON -- Many viewers have been receiving emails explaining that North Carolina law prohibits drivers from talking on a cell phone while driving, unless they use a hands-free device.

The email is detailed about the law and says it goes into effect July 1.

But, after checking the North Carolina General Assembly's web site, WECT found that the law is not scheduled to take effect.

The current laws regarding cell phone use and driving in North Carolina include:

*Drivers under the age of 18 may not use a cell phone behind the wheel, with the exception to call their parents or law enforcement
*Bus drivers are not permitted to speak on cell phones while driving

All of it didnt break. It just shattered the glass in the mirror and broke the turn signal off the bottom of the mirror. Just the guts would be fine if its that much cheaper. The guts just require taking a few plugs and screws loose.
