one of my pants, 100% wool, and it said dry cleaning but i totally fucked up and fogot now just threw it in the washer with everything else,
now, it is not smooth anymore...

Throw them in the trash.
On a related note...I dropped a wool Ben Sherman hat in the washing machine last week. I thought it would be ok to wash as long as I didn't put it in the dryer, but I was way wrong. It still looks perfect, but it would only fit a 5-9 year old now. It's going to the thrift store now for some stylish 7 year old to grab.

Buy wash-and-wear New Wool trousers.
I have 2 pairs by Cerruti (Super 120s cloth by Ermenegildo Zegna; Italian made, Australian wool) that I bought in 2005 for $40 each on sale. (I can see them costing $200+ in the US)
