I need someone to show me how to get a web page up and running for an on-campus organization. It need not be complicated - a main home page with our history/goals/etc., a page of short bios of the group members, and maybe some videos (eventually). I'll tell you more about the group and my ideas for the page if you're interested in the project. We can do this any time this summer, but I'd like to have it mostly together by the start of fall semester.

The "attractive guy" thing was a joke, but I really do need someone to help me with a web page. I have no budget, so I can't pay you with school funds, but I'll buy you some drinks out of my pocket if you like when we're done. Or, we can make a trade (I'll make you some art, or mow your lawn, or something). This will not be complicated for anyone who knows computers, but I don't.

^^^ mostly static. I think if I watched you do some of the work, I would be able to make updates by myself later on. Or I can find someone in the group that knows what they are doing. I would get someone from the group to do it this summer, but no one is in town and we'd like to have the page up by the end of the summer.

I agree with Shivan Bird; frontpage and word blow.

If you really want to put something up that quickly do it with wordpress (http://www.wordpress.com) and tweak the CSS a tad. You can probably get it done in a decent amount of time and it won't look like shit (and should be fully functional).

And really, if you expect somebody to make a website / market your project for you for free you should at least post a photo.
