My gf is trying to get a powerpoint slideshow that she made for her students to her computer at work for their last day of school. We only have dvd-rs in the house at the moment and the powerpoint is too big for her school email (the only one she can open at work). She doesn't have a dvd player in her room but she has a computer hooked up to a projector, could I burn the powerpoint onto the dvd and can she just open it as if its a data disc at work?

Don't own a flash drive? You can probably get one in a gumball machine these days.

Does the computer hooked up to the projector have a DVD drive? You sure you know how to burn a data disk. Please forgive me if this is patronizing, but it sounds like you might not be sure about those things. If you burn the DVD as a data disk (the safest way to make sure it'll be read by another DVD drive) then it won't be "as if" it's a data disk, it will be a data disk.
