does anyone have property or spend a lot of time on High Rock Lake?

i spent a lot of time out there last summer, a friend has a place on the main channel. My parents are looking at buying a place on the Abbotts Creek portion of the lake which is the northern channel.

I need to know if the Highway 8 causeway has a passable section for boats. I'd really hate to get a place on abbotts creek and be cut off from the main channel and my friend's place.






actually, just found a more updated site. looks like there is a passable portion but only of 5-6 feet.

Wow i haven't been to highrock lake since i was 9 good luck with the info though.
