Located just outside the beltline in a nice established neighborhood, convenient to NCSU/Raleigh, Cary, and Garner. We bought this house in 2003 and have done lots of improvements to it over the years. Nice big backyard for pets or entertaining. We replaced all the flooring, custom HUGE tiled shower in master bath, new paint inside and out, new roof (<2 yrs), new replacement windows (<2 yrs), etc. The picture of kitchen does not do justice to how nice the custom tiled granite countertop and woodwork is.

Nice house, but the layout seems confusing. Is the kitchen on the second floor?

Well, it's a split foyer, so you come in the house on a landing in the middle. You go up to go to the kitchen/dining room/2 bedrooms. Go down to go to the den/utility room/master bedroom.

Ah. What kind of fireplace is it? Is there be space to build a garage on the side?

It's a wood burning fireplace. We replaced the fireplace roof cap within the last couple years.

As far as a garage goes, there is room on the side of the house. The driveway goes down on the right side of the house and extends to a gate in the fence. There is room, but as far as building codes go, I have not investigated it. We thought about putting a garage around back under the deck with a side entrance if we were going to be here long term.
