The Finger Lakes region, and the adirondacks are probably the only parts of NY State that are worth visiting/living in

^^ Funny...those of us that live/grew up upstate dont ever think of NYC as part of NY....where everyone else in the world doesnt realize theres actually a whole state called New York, not just a city

While both of those statements are mostly true, it'd do the residents of NY well to think highly of their great city. B/c without it that state wouldn't have nearly the importance/weight it's always enjoyed.
