Anyone know a basketball court near State where guys go to play some street ball?? Not the gym because my boyfriend wants to play and he doesnt go to State.

I play with a few guys who pride themselves on being streetballers. I stand there watching them do all there moves and they brick the jumper... meanwhile I go right at them, pull up and hit jumpers.

I could always get a full court game on Saturday mornings... no other time really.

Cary has a few courts I used to get in games (off of Nowell Rd and on Maynard), but sometimes the competition was high schoolish... I mean they weren't terrible, just younger.

I think calling a foul on over the back is totally legit cuz sometimes people go all over your back and foul the shit out of you if there is no referee.

I don't think 3 seconds and almost all of the time charging has any place in pick-up basketball. That being said, there are some times when someone has no control over where they're going and they blatantly charge the hell out of you. That should be called.

About the over the back stuff, it's usually a foul committed by the tallest guy on the court who thinks that because he's the tallest guy on the court he has no need to use good positioning and instead just pushes anyone near him out of the way. I don't think if you get rebounded over it's a foul, but if he's pushing you from behind then it should be called or else that guy's gonna be doing it all game.
