I have 1) an old pc with 3 HDDs totaling 500GB 2) a 750GB external 3) a new laptop with 250GB and 4) PS3

what is the easiest solution where I can use the old pc as a torrent server and media streamer to the PS3, backup both pcs to the external, and run the whole show from my laptop

im a newb to this type of thing and id like to stick with windows-based solutions, so will Windows Home Server take care of all of this or will I need to do something else?

ok im rebuilding the actual pc component of my setup. i'm looking for the smallest and cheapest possible avenue. it does not need to act as a dvr/tv tuner, additional hdd, gpu, wireless, soundcard, etc...

the only requirements are:
1) small
2) cheap
3) stream hd content to my ps3
4) run a torrent program

thats it, nothing more, nothing less

how does this build look? can i get cheaper? im not sure how much RAM i need but i figure 2gb should be enough
