Did you know that Cherokees and grand Cherokees have inline 6's? 6/19/2008 4:28:10 PM |

I mean my cherokee gets 13-15 city and 18-21 highway but its got a 4" lift and 31" tires on it And its and inline 6
some of the crossovers get 20ish city to high 20s highway but any of the truckish ones, pathfinders, 4 runners etc. won't be much better than mine. ] 6/19/2008 4:29:51 PM |

They are all roughly the same, I was looking at the Jeep Patriot for a while but a cuv is basically a car that gets worse gas mileage so whats the point? 6/19/2008 4:42:22 PM |

my bro's girlfriend's Highlander has a V6. My brother said that thing struggles to get 17mpg around town. To hell with that. 6/19/2008 4:54:22 PM |

obviously mpg's vary depending on driving style but 17 does suck. my wife's '03 highlander gets consistent 23-24 in the city and that's figured by hand calculation. hers is also 4wd. she definitely keeps her foot out of it, though, and it's very well maintained since i take care of the damn thing. maintenance and synthetics have a big variable on mpg's.6/19/2008 6:02:57 PM |

is her 4wd all time?
i know they have the 4wd model, i thought they were all time until i was told its like every other awd/4wd car now, its "intelligent 4wd' 6/19/2008 6:07:16 PM |

it's really awd since there is no low range but the emblem on the back said 4wd. 6/19/2008 6:19:09 PM |

wouldnt it be nice if someone invented a standard test so you could compare one car to another. i bet the results could even be put in a nice table on a web page! 6/19/2008 8:26:15 PM |
