i don't do these much anymore, but here's one for old time's sake:

these bad bad people. they've never spoken to you before, don't know you, don't care about you. your freedom is their incentives package. arrests = promotions! they'll do stuff like hang 400 months in prison over your head so you'll plead guilty to some crazy shit you didn't do and do 80 months.

just imagine being on trial for something that you didnt do, but you know that some people are going to be swearing that you did do it. for some reasoon. and if you lose, you're locked up for 400 months. you won't eat for weeks, and you'll jump on the first offer they give you.

a lot of people say that you'd never plead guilty if you didn't do it, but those people have never been to court... and if they were faced with 50 years with a jury versus 8 if you plead to something you didn't do... i bet lots of them take those odds.

or you can just skip the 2 year trial and all the bleeding ulcers if you just plead to grand theft and go to jail for a year.
