dude, when you finally beat level 34, it starts over. Except each time you touch the ball, the level moves down (no delay, 1st time you touch it). And it goes into hyper faster than the speed of light mode after you touch it for the first time too.

^ mine stopped working, and i took it out and re-seated it, and it's been fine since. I think you can get replacement trackballs too.

yeah that's level 16. I can *usually* make it in one life. It all depends on the initial launch when you start the level.

i definitely use the trackball. haha actually i didn't even know you could use the space bar in lieu of pushing the trackball.

I've done it in one life twice. Love it when I get me a multi or a gun on that level. But usually, it's the useless laser.

I've beaten Level 16 the 2nd time through multiple times...never been able to get past about 25 or 26 or so (the level with a row of grey blocks at the bottom and a small opening on the left side, but even if you angle your first shot low and to the right, it tends to hit a block and come right back to you)...pain in the ass since the board starts dropping as soon as you hit it...i started that level one time with like 11 lives and couldnt do shit

here's another one for you guys-

does your game ever play itself? sometimes i'll minimize the game to come back to it later, and i find out i'm missing lives and some of the blocks have been hit once or twice

now i bring up the About screen before i minimize and it seems to work better

^Mine has done that. I've gotten to the point where I just close it rather than trying to go away and come back.

High score for me is a comparatively paltry 9300, gotten to but never through Level 16. Of course, I mainly play it on the can as well, and I tend to restart a bunch of times because I'll do something stupid and lose a life in a low level. Not worth keeping going at that point.

secret to level 16 is letting the level fall all the way down and just be hyper attentive when the ball comes down one of the edges... estimate where it's going to impact you and adjust your paddle to accommodate.
