TOTALLY agreed.

My car got towed from Valpark freshman year, and I even had a parking pass clearly visible in my window.

I blame Valpark, not the towing company, but they're both scum.

i wish i could remember the whole story of a crazy ass event one night. i know the basics were my buddys gf's jeep was getting towed, he somehow manages to get it off the truck or maybe they were just getting ready to hook it up, i can't remember. anyways, he re-parks car at the concert pavilion next door (Dave Matthews was playing that night so it was packed) and he walked back home and came in the backdoor while the towing ppl were still out front pissed. the apt managers came around knocking but nobody ever confessed so they never knew who it was. not real sure what they could have done anyways but it was crazy at the time

1 time they were trying to tow my car, i jumped in it and said i wasnt fucking leaving and they could call the cops. they just went and towed another car instead.

i've found out they cant boot car with 35 plus inch tires... Cary High tired to boot my friends truck for having mud on it (apparently people got really pissed about driving thru the mud left on the ground) They tried to boot his car but his thornbirds are so fucking wide it wouldn't fit... (first time thornbirds have ever been useful)

a friend was driving a ton service truck loaded down with cotton picker parts and a full 200 gallon fuel tank in the bed during exams, asshole towmater tried to snatch it. Hilarity did ensue, the front of the tow truck came off the ground. towmater was pissed, especially when he saw us all on the balcony laughing at him.

there was a thing about nazi towers around the Raleigh area last year. A friend of mine got her car towed while out at the bars despite being parked legally in a public area. She thought her car was stolen and called the cops, the tow company didn't contact her till five days later and asked for a something like $1k for 5 day's worth of storage fee's. She already received her check and was claimed as a theft. The tow company also asked to not get the police involved... Police got involved and found out the tow company was doing it quite a few people. The company claimed they were under staffed...

^yeah I had a tow company do that to me once. they towed me and didn't report it, so when I reported my ride stolen, cops were all over it.
then me and a buddy were drivin down the road a few days later and I saw my ride in the tow lot. I checked the tag, and it was mine. called the cops, and they were pissed that the towmater didn't let 'em know. cop was holdin the cuffs like he was gonna arrest the towmater but he didn't. Got my ride back for free though.


I do have to say that the dude in AZ is more patient than me. I would have already went goddamn ballistic. also if I was him, if the HOA didn't pull the parking contract at the end of this, I'd be moving. fuck that noise.
