Job Title: TechnicalAssistance intern Company: Cisco Systems Inc. Location: RTP, NC Position Type: Internship Degrees Required: BSEE or BSCPE or CSC Job Description: Provide technical assistance to clients and customers, assist team members do their technical tasks, learn the products and work on their supportability issues, perform system maintenance task such as installing software, upgrading operating systems, changing credentials etc, also perform as mentor for new hires, train new hires, participate in beta programs, assist level 2, level 1 engineers do their task efficiently
Position is a contracting position and need individual to stay with the team at least couple years as it takes significant time to train people and up to speed.
Qualifications: Skills required : 1. Unix skills ( prefer Solaris - basic to intermediate) 2. Windows understanding and work experience (basic) 3. good communication and verbal skills 4. The interns have been hired. If you have considerably more experience. You can now apply for a full time contract position.
