Anyone know if this is possible? Most PCs use the same synaptics touchpad, i don't see why someone hasn't hacked a driver together yet.

Yes, i've searched google, but it's just a bunch of forum threads of people asking the same question with no answer.

there are several touchpads, like from HP and IBM, that have edge-scrolling, but i agree - i love the 2-fingers scrolling and right-click on my Macbook Pro

that's one thing i can't like about the mac for some reason - but i hate touchpads in general so i guess i don't count

They all do. It's a function of the driver, not the touch pad itself. Just some of them have a little area marked off with a ridge so you can feel the scroll region.

As for the 2-finger scrolling, I had something for linux that did it. Don't remember what it was called, but no such luck for wind0ze.
