Am I missing something?
There's not a single instance of "best" in any of the thread titles
or am i being a retard

probably cause tww is low-class (good, better, best)
maybe you shouldn't be so snooty in your search requests 7/8/2008 8:07:42 AM |

^i shouldn't have to use quotation marks for one word.

clearly there were not many hits for "best" so it used ~synonyms. pretty cool feature if you ask me.

what's funny is that it didnt find any of the threads with best in it on the first page at the time.
if it used a synonym it should be both the synonym list and the original search string, not excluding the search string 7/8/2008 9:49:06 PM |

i'm not whining, i just think it's a bug.

^ They don't know what you mean. Constructive criticism is a fairly foreign concept on TWW. 7/11/2008 10:22:01 AM |

You know, some kind of date constraint is long overdue. The Wolf Web is mad old with some mad old threads.

bump
i search for Corning
and I get a bunch of threads and posts about corn
what is the syntax I should use to ensure results contain the exact search query and not a variant? 1/12/2011 11:41:27 PM |
