first of 3 upgrade exams scheduled for july 30th

anyone else doing this cert?

i'm not paying for it so i figure i might as well upgrade my mcse

So are they completely replacing the mcs(a/e) stuff with these new 5 letter certs?

yeah, for vista/server 2008 they completely revamped the mcp stuff

mcitp: enterprise admin is (from what i understand) the new mcse
mcitp: server admin is the new mcsa

so you can get the SA on the way to the EA?

they're treating SA and EA as two "completely different" certs

even though they share some exams

it's kinda strange... read up on the mcp site, they kinda-sorta-somewhat explain it

Yea I see the stuff on wikipedia about them sharing similar exams (except one is enterprise admin and one is server admin.) Seems strange that they didn't just make that one the same.
