Towards the end of summer session 1 i noticed my eyes would remain a little red throughout the day. I went home for the break in between sessions and my red eyes went away. Now that im back for the second session my eyes have been turning red again.
Ive never ever ever had allergies. I bought a hepa filter that is being delivered next monday, just in case its allergies.
Are there other things that could be causing this ? I'm a pretty clean and healthy guy. 7/9/2008 4:59:23 PM |

living in the dorms? sounds like an allergy...wonder if its something as simple as a pillow or comforter, or if its something else in the room 7/9/2008 5:00:28 PM |

even if its not official allergies, your health can still be affected by a poor air filter. it's recommended that you replace it every month...and make sure you're getting one of the more effective (and usually more expensive) ones. 7/9/2008 5:02:47 PM |

do you wear contacts and switch to a new/different solution?
i used a different brand solution than normal and it caused my eyes to be a little red and dried out until i took my contacts out. 7/9/2008 5:11:00 PM |

mine get red after keeping them open for extended periods of time (i.e. zoned out on book, computer, tv)
It/they will actually be red where exposed to air and regular white where they stay covered 7/10/2008 9:40:44 AM |

It would probably be worth giving Claritin or some other OTC allergy medication a shot. They make generic Claritin & Alavert (sp?) now as well, so it's not quite as outrageous as it used to be. Maybe even just try some lubricating drops.
My eyes are red for about the 1st hour after I wake up almost every day. I don't understand it, but on work days I often have to use Clear Eyes to put my game face on. 7/10/2008 11:32:47 AM |

Are you reading at school?? Reading things up close strains your eye muscles. When you went home you didn't really read I suppose. Just a thought?

Red eyes comes from sleeping on a pillow that someone bare ass farted in.
