Do yall have fixed hours that you must be in the office, or can you flex your time as long as you get your work done?

I can come and go whenever, but I usually have a healthy 7-9 hour workload everyday so I'm usually at the office. But if I don't have anything to do I'll peace out and leave around lunch.

we have to be here no later than 8am. you can come in earlier if you want. you can't leave until 530, or you can stay later if you want. we close at noon every friday.

I have today & tomorrow off.

Although had this been a normal day I would have been off around 1:30. I work approximately from 7am to 1:30pm Mon-Sat.

My old schedule was 7am to 6 or 7pm for 3 days a week and then a random half day sometime during the week, and which days were long, which day was the 7 hour long "half day", and which days were off switched on an almost weekly basis. And I was essentially "on call" on any day off including sats which meant no ability to plan anything ever. During that schedule I worked 2 to 3 sats a month.

I gave up Sats off completely & gave up pursuing another promotion, in turn for a regular schedule. But I really wouldn't mind a 9 to 5er at this point.

I'm doing summer research at a university, and the professor doesn't get in till around 10:30, 11, so I get in around then. Now that I'm self sufficient on the work I can do I might come in earlier...I can leave whenever as well, I don't have tasks for any day specifically so I just come in, do experiments till between 5 and 6 and then I leave.

do they track yall to make sure you're on time? ive heard that my company when they are suspicious of people can track people as they come in and out of the parking deck to open the security gate, and when they swipe their ids to activate the elevator or any building door.

but they really don't care.
