I'm trying to rent out a hall for about 200 people in Sept. Any ideas for good places?

go to a wedding website and look up event sites, they'll have a huge list of places.

The Elks Club has a nice place off of Lead Mine just up the road from Crabtree Mall. I hear the new alumni center is pretty nice too . . . I don't remember if you have to be a member of the alumni association to rent out the ballroom though.

Depends how much you want to spend but a lot of country clubs have banquet halls. Might be able to get a good price @ the NCSU club.
