So...after a year of dealing with the college of management people and still being denied admission I changed my major to ag business. I spent some time playing with online resources looking for what kind of jobs there are out there in that field and such. What kind of companies hire this major and what kind of jobs are out there? 7/21/2008 10:09:46 AM |

whats wrong with COM admission? either you meet the entry requirements or you don't
caterpillar hires ag business majors but you'd have to job search the website to figure out what fits you 7/21/2008 2:24:38 PM |

I got an Ag-business degree in 01' & have had a ton of jobs, not all ag-related. It's really a business degree with ag-knowledge instead of computer stuff.
I've worked for farm bureau, NC Agromedicine Institute, A hog jack-off place looking at sperm cells, tru-green chemlawn (horrible), a Highway construction surveyer for the DOT & am currently the VP of Internet Sales for Hungate's Creative Toys & Hobbies.
You have lots of options with an ag-business degree...don't think you'll be regulated to agriculture jobs only. 7/21/2008 6:03:40 PM |
