back in 02 we had some sort of millipede infestation

eventually they just went away, but i kept a bottle handy and just rolled the little buggers whenever i saw em

wiki:

Quote :
"Techniques for eliminating centipedes from the home include drying up the areas where they thrive, eliminating large indoor insect populations, sealing cracks in the walls, and seeking the assistance of an exterminator.[4]"

but...

Quote :
"Because they eat household pests, house centipedes are considered among the most beneficial creatures that inhabit human dwellings."

hmm...well the largest indoor insect population i have seems to be these centipedes themselves, and i usually keep the AC cranked up in the summer, which means the air is cool, and i use exhaust fans when i shower, etc, so i guess i'll seal up some cracks

i'd prefer a couple praying mantises myself in lieu of these long legged bastards

let em be man, they are beneficials

if your centipedes are in your house at such a number during the summer...you have an insect population somewhere that is a lot larger than you think

if you remove the centipedes youll probably figure out what that insect population is real quick

because it is sustaining that population of centipedes

well, in general insects live in the summer and die in the winter when it gets too cold...also its obviously humid down in the south and those centipedes apparently like moisture...i dunno, if all they're gonna do is crawl around and look for other bugs to eat thats fine with me but in general when i see a bug inside my place i prefer killing them

no there is no generality

some die, others hibernate in warm areas such as the soil or your home

IM JUST SAYIN MAN, maybe you should get a consultant instead of trying any trick shot remedies

my landlord has some exterminators come out to every unit probably once every couple months to spray...i dont think i have a huge infestation...they were in my place a week or two ago spraying...maybe the centipedes are in the process of leaving since there are no more bugs for them to eat

they are fun to kill because blowing on them will practically kill them, but they are fast as shit, so it's a challenge
