our new home has no gutters. we need 'em before we can do any landscaping around the house. seriously considering the "no clog" gutters. it's a simple 1 story ranch house.
suggestions for gutter types and contractors (who are available in durham) to install them are appreciated. 8/10/2008 11:49:08 AM |

I'll ask my parents what they got, have the capped rain gutters that work fantastic, unlike some other covered gutter systems that have gotten clogged. 8/10/2008 12:45:56 PM |

We put some on a house last month thats on a very narrow sloped lot. All downspouts went underground where they tied in with either PVC or corrugated pipe. The pipe continued to the front of the lot where we installed caps on them that sit flush with the ground, but open when water flows. It's going to irrigate the hell out of the front of the yard. I'm really excited to see how it looks once landscaping is done. 8/10/2008 2:46:19 PM |
