Due to some fancy carpooling, I'm going to want to leave my car in Statesville on this Friday and Saturday nights. I don't really want to just leave it in a mall or Wal-Mart parking lot, as cars left overnight at those places are just asking for trouble.

Does anyone live around Statesville and have an empty curb in front of their house? Or an apartment complex with unenforced parking?

Thanks.

I'm travelling I-77 north from Charlotte. The closer to 77, the better.

^^where do you work? I'm at Pneu-Mech Systems, off of Old Mtn. Road.

There's an apt complex i think you can park at- my old roomie and his wife live there. pretty nice place, and far enough from everything to not matter. unfortunately i cant get ahold of the address/ name of the complex.

Take the Broad Street exit, turn right on broad street. go about 1 mile or so, there's an apartment entrance (blue sign i believe) that is sandwiched between two churches... cant miss it.

You're talking about Phillips Landing. I'm from Statesville, and if I were going to suggest anywhere it would be that place. I had some relatives (>80yro) who recently relocated to Statesville and they are staying there while they find a house. They are very happy there, so if they feel safe I'm sure you're fine parking a car there. There's plenty of spaces so I doubt they enforce parking.

aw, how nice. My threads are bringing the world together.

Thanks for the tips fellas. I was looking on google maps around that area and very well might have looked at that specific complex. But it's kinda hard to tell what they're like from a satellite image.

I grew up in Troutman; haven't lived there in 11 years....

But I would suggest you definitely DON'T leave it at Signal Hill.

Sorry
