I am in the process of sending out resumes (applying online and going directly to the companies). I really want to make my resume stand out, so I purchased some nice looking folders and paper. There is a place to put my business card, which I don't have. Should I make a business card or just leave it empty? Does a business card seem too uppity for a newly graduated newbie? 8/19/2008 8:27:34 PM |

I don't have a business card since I graduated recently either, though I have been sending out my resumes and cover letters on nice paper in addition to applying online. It's gotten me some interviews so far, so I don't think a business card is necessary at this point... especially since you don't yet have a business. 8/19/2008 8:33:17 PM |

I'm looking at overprints.com (pretty cool site) but I think I'm just going to do a basic b&w. Also, I just have my name, degree type and college, email, and phone number on it. Is that ok? 8/19/2008 8:49:39 PM |

The purpose of a business card is to advertise a job you have, not to advertise for a job you want. 8/19/2008 10:13:54 PM |
