I just ordered 9lbs of bbq from them last weekend

But honestly, I cannot tell the difference between them and any other BBQ place. It was good though... cheap too.

The 'cue at the nahunta pork outlet at the farmer's market owns cooper's so hard it's not even funny. I have had almost every 'cue in Raleigh except ole time and like Nahunta's the best. Thankfully my boyfriend agrees.

'Cue is better than BBQ.

Am I the only one here addicted to Nahunta's delicious offerings? Best part is that it's cheap, 2lbs for $10.

Huh? When I went to cooper's it was definitely more than $5 a lb. Not that I really care about a couple bucks if it means better food, but Cooper's tasted like there was mayo in it and I can never forgive that!

look.

cooper's has been open for 70 years.

it's cheap, and they're not open for dinner, and they still make bank. there's a reason for that.

you're entitled to like nahunta more, but don't bring some lameass shit about tasting like mayo into a discussion about clyde motherfucking cooper's.

There was definitely something funky with the stuff I tried from cooper's. I guess I should give them a second chance, but nahunta is so delicious and convenient I have been too lazy. Do need to go visit ole time.

Part of my problem is that I just get a lb to go when I order it, can't have a bun or hush puppies so I know I'm not getting the full experience. But eating bbq straight out of the container with a fork is so delicious I just don't care.

smithfield's is damn good considering they're a real no-shit fast food place...i mean, cookout has barbecue, but it isn't even fit to feed to a dog

once again, cut at smithfield's is a little too coarse

knightdale bbq used to be my favorite, but when they moved up the road and abandoned the old cookhouse the quality of the food took a fucking nosedive

i drove past a subway and they have pulled pork subs now...i was like WTF STAY OFF MY ETHNIC FOOD

That was my experience at the barbecue lodge. Could not taste the meat it was soaked in so much vinegar.

Realized I have not tried holy smokes either, but they do not offer a to go option (at least not on their website).

Can not eat a bun. Can not eat hush puppies. Most of 'em use the same oil for the puppies and fries, so I can't even have those. Might as well take it home so I can wash it down with a nice import cider or have it on a gluten free bun.
