looking for a reptile-suitable tank, preferably with a screen lid.
not in a huge rush to get one, but throwing it out there in case one becomes available at a decent price. 8/28/2008 10:31:10 PM |

do you go back to the charlotte area ever? i have a 55 w/ screen top and iron stand. it's been sitting there with plants in it for over a year now...was planning to put geckos back in it, but i ended up getting some bigger tanks.
overall in good shape, theres a scratch in the center of one of the "main" panes of glass, but i always just turned that one to the back.

How soon do you need it? I have a glass 55 w/ screen lid and clamps that I will have for sale in about a month, possibly less. I'm making a 120ish tank for my boa and won't need the 55. 8/31/2008 4:46:43 PM |

I have a 55 gallon with a crack on one side. The tank is still structurally sound but wont be able to hold water. Its also a little dirty. Free if you want it. 8/31/2008 8:02:23 PM |

i ended up realizing that the 55, while long enough, was far too narrow a tank for my lizard when she grows up. i ended up going ahead and getting a wider tank (40 gallon breeder), since the 20 gallon i was going to keep her in temporarily doesn't allow for the heat gradient she needs.
so sorry, don't need it now 8/31/2008 8:55:18 PM |
