I have a HP laptop I don't need anymore. About 1.5yrs old, it saw some heavy use during it's first year, but I haven't touched it now since December. This is more of a desktop replacement than a portable, take to class/drink coffee at Cupajoe while blogging, notebook. There does seem to be an overheating problem, but I have heard it is solved in a bios update, which I have not done in 9 months.

Model #: dv9074cl
OS: XP Media Center (legit copy, sticker intact on the bottom)
CPU: 1.8ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56
RAM: 2x1gb DDR2-667
Gfx: nVidia Geforce Go 7600 256mb
HDD: 2x100gb 5400rpm Sata
Optical drive: LightScribe 8x Dvd burner with DL support
Display: 17" WXGA+ Widescreen@1440x900
Intrawebs: Ethernet port, 802.11a/b/g wlan
Misc: Card Reader (SD/MS/MSPro/MMC/xD), integrated webcam/mic, expresscard slot, touch sensitive multimedia buttons, 1 firewire, 4 usb2.0, 1 vga, 1 s-video.

I have played CS:S and F.E.A.R. smoothly at medium settings, bf1942, vietnam, run excellent. Plays x264 fine. I have self-burnt factory install restore discs, so I can restore back to that or keep it as is with a pirated cs3 premium, among other things.
Originally came with an analog tv tuner that went in the expresscard slot, but I have no idea where that could be and I believe the remote may be a dog toy currently.

if the future buyer is brave enough to crack the case, there are tutorials online to help with that.

i.e. adding arctic silver paste, cleaning the heatsink and related plumbing, etc...

^^^this isn't that sort of carry-around laptop.
^Not at the moment.

Antec cool pad http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=75004, wireless logitech mouse included. The keyboard is currently broken. I may or may not replace that soon.

Well it has a usb port, and I can throw in a usb laptop. So it is in working condition.

But I will either fix the keyboard myself or will pay/subtract the replacement fee if sold as is.

well...i don't know that you can rightly call this in "working" condition if it isn't working on its own

CAN be working condition IF you add things to it != "working condition"

that said, sounds like most of the issues might be easy to fix...the keyboard could be simply dislodged from the ribbon port (easy to fix) or it could be shot (comparatively expensive to replace)...the overheating might be as simple as cleaning it out or as much of a nuisance as cracking it open and reseating a heatsink or two
