They're serious.

Pretty sure it's a Crown store, and I already explained what happened with them: they priced today on cost to replace, not cost of goods. And that their supplier was already out of gas today at 2pm. And that they're doing this partially to hang on to what they do have, until they can get more.

It's always the cost to replace... unless the cost to replace is substantially cheaper. In that case they just wait for the station across the street to lower prices.

the BP at pullen park is still at 3.89, but apparently I was wrong and prices everywhere are going up "due to the hurricane"

What I also posted in that post was that their supplier/distributor raised prices by a dollar today at 11am. Guess when the prices at Crown stations went up

But wait...are not all Crown stations on the same supplier? Around 4, the Crown @ Western/Kent was at $4.89 but the one @ Hillsborough/Faircloth was still at $3.94.
