I went a week ago -- the Monday night game last week. What a great time. I'm so glad I got to go. I watched all the coverage yesterday. Started at 1 p.m. right down to the Sportscenter after the game.

i went to a game forever ago, i think it was george brett's last game or something. I could be wrong tho. They got spanked by the royals though, that sucked.

also I think Mattingly was taking time off because of some family issues, I don't think it is because of the dodgers.

Yankee stadium felt like an institution walking through the concourse. Sure, it is sad to see an institution go, but a game day experience there sucked.

yankee stadium compared to any of the newer stadiums is a terrible game day experience. Hell, compared to the older stadiums it is a terrible game day experience.

ive been to a fair share of stadiums and YS had the least leg room, but luckily our tickets were for the back row on the lower level so i was just able to stand the whole time

I love Yankee Stadium being the place where i went for my 20 mlb games. I love the history. The sad part is that renovation in the 70's changed the place. The fans are great but the amenities and the bathrooms are awful. Any stadium built or renovated during that deacade are awful.

The new stadium will be more like the yankee stadium pre-remodel then the current one was. They also have a special exemption from mlb to keep the same field dimensions. I just hope Hank doesn't fuck us over by signing AJ Burnett or Ben Sheets and give up our draft picks.

Yes he was drafted. He's been recovering from Tommy John surgery. Should be getting pretty close to being cleared to throw as far as I know. I could be wrong about that though.
