I am watching CBS/MNF shows live on HD OTA while the DVR records sarah connor and heroes so I can breeze through them without too much commercial interruption. Finally there is enough on tv to require this extra work!

^Agreed.

I thought the first episode this season was hilarious. I love Sarah Chalke, but I know somehow she won't be around too long since she's a main character over on Scrubs (which I do realize is on temporary hiatus before the last season).

It required some fancy manuveuring on my part to watch all my shit. Wathced HIMYM while recording Top Gear, then watched Prison Break on the basement TV while Heros and One Tree Hill recorded (1TH not for me!) upstairs on the DVR. After Prison Beak ended I watched the 2nd half of MNF.

Sweet Jesus!

A+

It's so much more than just a burger. I mean, that first bite...oh, what heaven that first bite is. The bun, like a sesame freckled breast of an angel, resting gently on the ketchup and mustard below, flavors mingling in a seductive pas de deux. And then…a pickle! The most playful little pickle. Then a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce, and a patty of ground beef so…exquisite, swirling in your mouth, breaking apart and combining again in a fugue of sweets and savories so….delightful. This is no mere sandwich of grilled meat and toasted bread! This is God, speaking to us through food.

^lol, quality. And while Regis was hilarious, I found last week's episode funnier.

Not to mention I'm a little peeved about the lack of authenticity in the episode. I'm not sure about the other places mentioned by name, but the Corner Bistro is indeed real and has AWESOME cheap burgers and is open very very late. However, the interior of that place (little hole in the wall in Greenwich Village) looks nothing like what they showed on TV.

yes I'm anal

^Or you just want to show off how much you know about NY since you lived there.

This episode was hilarious. Was hoping to see some progression on the Stella and B-man/Robin storylines, but that's OK b/c it was still a funny ep.

Well, its just funny b/c in the past I have had conversations with my friends in NYC about where the best burger was

Good ep. It was one of those episodes just meant to be entertaining but wasn't really advancing any storyline other then his job.

The pants radius was great.

Anyone else catch last night's episode? Don't read further if haven't watched it yet.

The whole Barnacle leaving his fist up in the air until someone knuckled up was pretty funny - "Knuckle up for safety" had me cracking up.

Ted decided he's going to move to NJ for Stella. We know he's not gonna marry her b/c of hints dropped last season...so I wonder how that plays out.

And a little twist dropped at the end of the show, Robin got a new job and is moving to Japan. Don't think that'll last very long.

I don't think there is a chance Robin is going to leave the show. Just a way to get Barney to confess his love for her.

I'm still trying to decide whether I like the fact that HIMYM always does this thing where they show where they are at at some point in the future and then use later episodes to tell you how they all get there. But I guess it has kept me interested so far so it must not be all that bad.

That actress looks JUST LIKE someone who used to post on TWW that had pictures plastered all over the board? I can't remember her name though... something like webejamn or around that...

Craziness.

Totally didn't see it coming that Stella would be the one walkin out on the wedding and not Ted.

maybe it's just me but at this point, I don't really care who the mother is

I'm more interested in laughing more than one or two times during an episode, so hopefully, Stella being gone will allow for less of that drama bullshit and more laughs

I haven't seen it yet, but I figured it would be Stella who broke it off, this time for some reason... Scrubs is starting in early January so I figured she wouldn't be prominently on both shows (even though taping for Scrubs is over I'm pretty sure..).

i sort of figured it would be her to break it off. not beforehand but as the episode unfolded. it shook me up a little bit when she mentioned her issues with her ex twice during dinner and then she kept jumping on ted and making assumptions that he felt a certain way which made me suspect it was truly her. then they reinforced all of these scenes meaning something at the very end when they did their flashback.

robin admitting she still has a thing for ted, that was pretty cool.

also, i am now starting to form a crush for robin.

i don't know what took me so long.

Wonder who the mother is...

St. Patrick's day party

Yellow umbrella

Also, has Barney been slapped all 5 times?

I thought Stella was the one with the yellow umbrella.

I hope all that innuendo stuff comes together to be the real mother, else that would be kinda lame.

I kinda hope they leave the mother-chasing aspect alone for a while. Get back to the funny.

Also, Stella wasn't the one with the umbrella.
