is this worth it? guy wants to trade for my boat.

1993 250cc Timberwolf ATV thats in nice shape and just in time for deer hunting season or off road riding

Tires are good ( rear's are 25 x 12 x 10 and switchable for sand or dirt by just switching the rim's/tires from one side to the other )No need to dismount & remount them to switch

Has enclosed shaft drive so there's no chain to worry about or adjust

Headlights and tail lite work

May need a battery as I had to boost it to get it started ( battery takes a charge but not strong ) WalMart has the battery for it so it's easy and cheap to replace

Run's good but hasn't been tuned in a couple of year's

No rips in the seat and the plastic looks good

Open to cash offer's or trade's for something interesting ( I'd like to get an enclosed trailer or small boat or who know's what - Let me know what you have or are willing to trade for it )

Not looking to trade for any services , Fish or reptile Tank's or musical instrument's or guns unless its a Fox sterlingworth 20ga double or a .22 mag rifle with scope

Is your boat worth more or less than $1000? I'd say that thing should be $800-$1200 depending on how it runs. It's small displacement and pretty beat looking.

Gotta love the truck brush guard on it tho.

I'd do it if the ATV runs well and you don't have a serious buyer lined up for your boat. The statement that it hasn't been tuned in "a couple of years" probably means "10 years" to be exact though. If it was running smooth he wouldn't even mention it. Wouldn't be a bad idea to check compression though; especially if that thing is a 2 stroke.

Free boat that doesn't run in exchange for running ATV...Sounds good to me. The running ATV will be easier to sell if you don't want to keep it.
