dont do it, whats the worst that the rental company would do? Probably just do it themselves and deduct it from your security deposit...

Try reading your lease next time before you sign it. I've seen that same clause in two different leases now, and both times told them they either modify it or I walk . . . . it almost always works. It was pretty funny when the last place tried to take $300-some off my deposit for not having it done, and I showed them the original lease.

when i move out I have to provide a reciept of having the carpet cleaned and having the place treated for fleas. But this is a stipulation that comes with the dog agreement.
